History
“AEROCON” is a diversified innovative enterprise that was created in 1991 as a State Enterprise for the sake of efficient solution of conversion challenges. In 1995 ‘’AEROCON” was transformed into Close Corporation.
1991-1993
The participation took place in a number of conversion projects. It was realized the fulfillment of orders of the following customers: Lytkarino optic glass factory, “Moskva” furniture plant, Starooskolsky metallurgical works, “Elektrostal” works, the meat processing and packing factory and the dairy factory of Ramenskoye and so on. The patents and the author’s certificates were awarded to a number of products and techniques.
1993-1995
A major order of Vyksounsky metallurgical works was completed. The test bench for contactless continuous wagon wheel geometry measuring was designed and manufactured based on FSUE TsAGI technology. The product, created through laser and computer-aided technologies, passed the tests. It is beneficially exploited in production line of the works.
1994
“AEROCON” contributed to the publication of “Aviation” encyclopedia, issued by FSUE TsAGI and the “Great Russian Encyclopedia” Publishing Company. The unique edition was being prepared for publication during 15 years. It has comprised the experience and the knowledge of numerous research institutes, design bureaus and works of aircraft industry.
1995
The cooperation with “Tupolev” JSC has been initiated in area of design and industrial production of AS-2 amphibian snow plane.
“Designer Manual for general aviation aircraft designing” has been prepared and issued. The edition has summarized the results of TsAGI investigations.
1999-2001
A large work complex for improving the antitorque rotors for Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-24 helicopters through TsAGI innovative developments in lifting airfoils was realized under joint cooperation of AEROCON, FSUE TSAGI and MHP n.a. M.L. Mil. The enterprise for blades serial production was founded based on carried out R&D.
2004
State Standard RISO 9001-2001 quality management system correspondence certificate is awarded.
2005
R&D package on creating “FORTIS” aerojeep, that is the advanced market-aimed amphibian transport vehicle, is initiated.
2006
“AEROCON” is engaged in R&D activities within generating the fifth generation advanced tactical fighter.
2007
“INSPECTOR 101” UAV complex is developed based on “101” UAV, the smallest Russian one with the mass of 250 g and the wing span of 30 ñì.
2008
“INSPECTOR 201” UAV complex is created based on “201” micro- UAV with the mass of 1,3kg and the wing span of 0,8ì. The complexes were successfully proofed in aims of ESM of RF in flat country and in highlands.
AEROCON develops a proprietary automated flight control system for UAV.

2009
“INSPECTOR 301” UAV complex with the mass of 6kg and the wing span of 1,5ì is under development. Besides the “INSPECTOR 201” complex is under modification. The automated flight control system for UAV is under flight test.
A pilot flight control system and the test bench to test it are under construction. This activity is performed within the program of creating the fifth generation tactical fighter.
A tentative “FORTIS” aerojeep, based on Chevy350 engine, is under construction.
