The design and manufacturing the sliding boat was being carried out jointly with the specialists of aeronautical and shipbuilding design bureaus that were highly experienced in manufacturing the water motor vehicles.

The strength of the cabin and of the boat was calculated in accordance to the norms that were particularly designed by the aeronautical industry specialists.

The stylish appearance and the saloon design were generated by the specialists from one of the leading car design studios.

The efficient propeller-and-hoop propulsion device is developed based on experience of specialists of TsAGI and MAI. This device increases the start thrust in 1.2 versus the conventional propeller of the same diameter.

The classic scientific approach and a lot of investigations in hydrodynamics, the propeller-and-hoop propulsion device and the composite materials that were implemented in the course of creating the FORTIS Aerojeep enabled to achieve the 0.3 start thrust-to-weight ratio. It is one of the best results for vehicles of this class.
